Late-breaking abstracts are now open for poster presentation only.

All late-breaking abstracts are guaranteed a poster presentation, pending approval of the content. You must be a fully paid-up registrant for your abstract to be considered.

Submissions close at midnight AEDT on Sunday 8 November 2026.

Before You Start

  • Use a supported browser

    Internet Explorer (v11 or newer), Mozilla Firefox (v44 or newer) or Safari (v5 or newer).

  • Mac users

    If you have trouble submitting your abstract, try submitting from a PC. If you are still having issues, please contact the secretariat.

  • Mozilla Firefox users

    Firefox may block pasting with 'Ctrl + V'. You can still cut and paste your abstract by using the menu command instead.

  • Keep it under 300 words

    The system will not accept abstracts over 300 words. This does NOT include your title, authoring or cited references.

  • Have your abstract ready

    Keep your abstract open on your computer so you can cut and paste it into the submission system.

Submission Steps

    Choose type

    Select the presentation type and category.

    Add keywords

    Provide some keywords to help categorise your abstract.

  3. 3

    Enter your title

    Use sentence case (lowercase with only the first letter of the first word in capitals) and no punctuation. For example: 'Title of my presentation for the conference'

  4. 4

    Add authors

    Enter all authors and their organisations, and tick the box for the presenting author.

  5. 5

    Paste your abstract

    Type or paste your abstract into the relevant field. No more than 300 words (excludes title, authoring and cited references).

  6. 6

    Preview and submit

    Preview your abstract, make any changes, finalise your submission and return to your dashboard.

  7. 7

    Check your email

    You will receive an email confirmation. If you have not received it, please check your junk folder.

    Need to edit?

    Log on to your online registration dashboard and click "View Submission", then "Preview/edit abstract".

Please note: you will only be able to make changes to your abstract until the submission deadline. After this, please send any changes to ASN Events.
